VantagePoint provides the means with support for a variety of features for handling all aspects of spatial reference systems and their related parameters. VantagePoint support over forty base projections and hundreds of datum's. Users can use the VantagePoint Desktop GIS to convert coordinates between projections, create custom projections and translate between five different projection file formats such as ESRI and OGC WKS and Proj4.
