Component GIX™ is a set of software components that are extensible by developers using Microsoft® COM and .NET programming models.
These libraries provide a feature-rich and flexible set of components that allow Windows® software developers to build custom controls, such as: menus, toolbars, control bars, status bars, documents and view windows. Developers can also integrate Fortified GIS™ functionality behind the scenes in their own applications by re-using our components to perform operations like: spatial re-projection, geometric analysis, image manipulation, and file format conversion.
With Component GIX™ developers can [easily] create their own visual controls (or re-use our existing controls) and embed them into their applications, thus creating custom user interfaces to meet specific business objectives.
